A piece that attempts to bring together some of the elements that I was working with during spring and summer of 2022. The bees are taking a larger role and humans poking out of the pond are taking a break from it all.

Technique is back-painted glass, using a vintage craftsman window as the starting point, trimmed down for a light aesthetic while preserving the distressed surface of the frame which contrasts nicely with the smooth, reflective glass. Frame is painted an off white. Hangs by a conventional braided steel wire that is secured to the back side using d-rings. Signed on the front, using initial block in the upper right corner of the composition and again on the back, with date, and title.

Size, including wood frame: 34.5” x 19.75” x 1.5”.

If this needs to be shipped outside of the Puget Sound area, it will require a light cardboard crate to provide some protection during handling. Cost of shipping, including the packaging, will be added at cost. Shipping cost determined by final destination.
